Meet Our Team
Julie PollardCo-Founder and COOJulie is a certified ACSM Exercise Physiologist. She co-founded Ageless Fitness with Emmanuel in 2018. She has her M.S. in Gerontology and Longevity Sciences from USC, and her B.S. in Kinesiology from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. She grew up in Washington state and moved to California for her undergrad. Julie specializes in exercise programs for older adults. At the Santa Barbara office, Julie will meet with you for your consultation to review your health and fitness goals. Julie will design your personalized program program, and check-in with you along the way.

Paulo ThiagoMartial Arts InstructorPaulo is a decorated MMA fighter and outstanding Martial Arts Instructor. Paulo’s impressive fighting skills has led him to fight in the UFC for almost a decade. As a Jiu-Jitsu instructor, Prof. Paulo will guide you through fundamental Jiu-Jitsu adapted to your fitness level. Most people know Prof. Paulo for his incredible performances in the UFC but outside of the UFC he was a Special Ops Police Officer in Brazil. As a Police Officer, Paulo has developed extensive experience in urban warfare and hand to hand combat, having used his Jiu-Jitsu skills as well as his fighter’s instincts on several occasions to protect the community from dangerous criminals. Adaptive Martial Arts is a wonderful way to build strength, balance, and improve reaction time.

Rafal BrzozowskiTai-Chi InstructorSifu Rafal Brzozowski studied martial and healing arts with Master Richard Tsim, the Founder of Lau Kune Do—“Way of the Flowing Fist.” In 2001. He brings his experience to Ageless Fitness and helps clients build balance through focused movement. Great for people with neurocognitive issues or people wanting to start exercising at a slow pace. Even an extreme athlete can benefit from working with Rafal. Tai-Chi helps to build strength and flexibility in both the lower and upper extremities and in the core muscles of the back and abdomen.

Szymon BrzozowskiKickboxing Instructor | Physical TherapistSzymon Brzozowski is a graduate of the Academy of Physical Education in Wroclaw, Poland. He graduated with a master’s degree in Physical Therapy. Szymon is a long-time kickboxing practitioner and has competed in many tournaments. His goal is to promote a healthy, active lifestyle in and beyond the local community. Kickboxing is a wonderful conditioning and fitness tool that helps build strength, balance, and improve reaction time.
